I prefer my heroes to be part-offensive and part-defensive, so that if healing isn't needed, they can all help in killing things, and if healing is needed, they can all help out simultaneously. Can Splinter Weapon with 10 channeling be made to fit on that E/Resto Rit bar?

For anyone who's tried it, does an ele hero spamming [Shield Guardian] work well as a nice AOE heal? You could potentially also move [Dwayna's Sorrow] from the MM to the Ele if you did this, freeing up the secondary on the MM for Splinter Weapon.

I was playing around with Ether Renewal hero builds last night; E/Rt, E/Mo heal and E/Mo smite. Rt secondary has efficient redbarring, but we don't really care about efficiency with ER. For the E/Mo, he just didn't want to Infuse Health that often, so I had to instead bring along Heal Other and Jamei's Gaze. The Healing line just doesn't have enough exciting skills in it, though. I also noticed both characters felt a little slow to respond to rapid incoming damage, as their skills are 3/4 second cast.

I tried out E/Mo smite [Reversal of Damage][Smite hex][Smite Condition][Reversal of Fortune][Energy Blast][Zealot's Fire][Aura of Restoration][Ether Renewal] which actually did the best out of the setups in my little test area, which is taking out the Charr groups in Grothmar Wardowns HM. I'm not entirely sure Zealot's Fire is worth it on HM, but is another enchantment (and makes things scatter, which can be good or bad).

What I will experiment with tonight is adding [Aegis][Shield of Absorption]. I'll have to take out 2 of Zealot's Fire, RoF, Energy Blast.

First of all - the thread is a year old.
Second of all - Jagged isn't worth it. A bitch elite like [Empathic Removal] is so much better on a bomber.

And third of all:

energy management is almost as good as on n/rt 3 sec of near invincibility is also nice. <3
its actually better than n/rt at dodging annoying nukes from bosses and keeps gaining energy regrdless of things dieing or not so it wont go emo if something goes wrong. :3
A Teasing Fatass would be preferred. Or a Teasing Razzy for that matter.
If not - a Discord necro still wins. Quite simply because resto can not compare to a monky hybrid. Meaning, anyone running resto needs to be partly offensive to measure up.
